Looking for Seasonal Front Of House Staff to work high volume shifts at El Chupacabra at our 3 locations in Seattle. Positions will start spring 2018 and run until fall 2018, with the option of being permanent staff after the season is over.
If you are looking for part time or summer shifts this is great opportunity! The Chupacabra is a fun place to work! The music is loud, the food is great, and our staff and neighborhood regulars are awesome too.

SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION:
A server’s primary responsibility is to provide a good customer service and dining experience. This includes learning our food and drink menus, answering customer questions, taking orders and delivering items in a timely manner. Other duties include seating people from the wait list, refilling waters, checking back with guests during their visit, bussing tables as needed, assisting co-workers as needed, setting up and taking down service areas, performing all side work each day, and managing your credit card transactions and cash for each shift. Pay is $11.50 per hour plus tips and shift meal.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous serving experience.
- You must be reliable to show up to all shifts on time (If you live nearby that is a big plus, but not a requirement).
- Candidates should have good people skills, a positive work attitude, and be able to consistently provide a positive customer experience.
- You should also be able to follow instructions, multi-task, problem solve, and keep your cool in a fast-paced environment with a smile.
- Applicants must be physically able to work an 6-8 hour day on your feet.
- Keep in mind it gets very busy!
- You will also need Washington State Liquor and Food Worker cards. You may bring it after you are hired, we can provide the website info if you need to obtain one.

HOST/BUSSER JOB DESCRIPTION:
Host/Busser duties include being in charge of our wait list and seating people, assisting servers to clear tables of used plates and cups, cleaning and resetting tables, providing water to customers, getting ice from the machine, and lending a hand where needed. Pay is $14.00 per hour plus tips and a shift meal.
REQUIREMENTS:
- If you are a motivated and fast learner, no experience needed.
- You must be reliable to show up to all shifts on time (If you live nearby that is a big plus, but not a requirement).
- Having good people skills and a positive work attitude is essential.
- Be able to follow instructions and multi-task, keep your cool in a fast-paced environment with a smile.
- Applicants must be physically able to work an 6-8 hour shift on your feet and lift 30 pounds.
- Keep in mind it gets very busy!
- You will also need a Washington State Food Worker card. You may bring it after you are hired, we can provide the website info if you need to obtain one.
